"Summer Sunrise at Eagle Falls, Lake Tahoe" From my vacation up there last week! Just beautiful silky water flowing over the falls with my wide angle lens to capture the sunrise and the falls! (The wide angle is a 10-20mm on a 1.5x crop sensor currently). A couple images combined to keep the sky from blowing out and getting the right detail in the water. Shot with a 3-stop Singh-Ray Daryl Benson Reverse Neutral Density Graduated filter to hold the sun from blowing out on the horizon.

"Twisted Pine and Wispy Clouds over Emerald Bay Lake Tahoe" - This is in the Desolation Wilderness on the way to Eagle Lake in Lake Tahoe. I didn't realize just how similar the twisted pine in the foreground was to the clouds up above! Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe is in the background. Enjoy!

"90 Foot Wall" Lake Tahoe Climbing at its best! In the Desolation Wilderness on the way to Eagle Falls Lake, this awesome climbing spot is nestled in the trees. Lots of routes and accessible from the top. A nice quick hike from Emerald Bay and the Eagle Falls.

"Lake Tahoe Bonsai Rock at Sunset" The massive rocks and boulders in Lake Tahoe almost look like stepping stones out to the Bonsai tree at sunset here in Lake Tahoe. My first trip to the elusive tree and large waves were on the lake. I used a long exposure at dusk to smooth the water out.

"Moon over the Bonsai Tree at Lake Tahoe" The moon was up at dusk as I captured the bonsai tree on Lake Tahoe.

"Sunset on the Bonsai Rock and Tree in Lake Tahoe" The massive rocks and boulders in Lake Tahoe almost look like stepping stones out to the Bonsai tree at sunset here in Lake Tahoe. This is another summer shot of the Bonsai Rock and Tree along the eastern shore in Lake Tahoe. It didn't seem like there was going to be any sunset that night. At the last minute the sky just lit up with a pink glow!

"Glow on Lake Tahoe at Sunset" A nice pink glow emerges from the clouds from a last minute sunset on Lake Tahoe.

"Bonsai Rock and Tree at Sunset" Lake Tahoe
