John Harrison Photography > Reflections of El Capitan in the Morning. Aperture Nature Photography Workshop Contest, Yosemite National Park
John Harrison Photography > "Spring Reflections on the Merced", "Water, Light and Textures" series. Yosemite National Park. This was a hidden gem - just a simple flow coming down the Merced river between two rocks. The green reflections of the trees and the soothing water streaming by. The orange and blacks specs on the rocks caught my eye. I didn’t see the blue specs in the rocks until I looked more closely at the image. This was shot during the Aperture Nature Photography Workshop Contest trip to Yosemite in January 2009.
John Harrison Photography > This is my token black and white image!
John Harrison Photography > Rainbows on Yosemite Falls. Yosemite National Park, Aperture Nature Photography Workshop trip, ANPW.
John Harrison Photography > Rainbows on Horsetail Falls. This is a different look at this ephemeral waterfall, Horsetail Falls. With just a trickle of water coming over it, it sparkled in the Sun. Yosemite National Park, Aperture Nature Photography Workshop contest. My "Nature's Firefalls" is the version of this that looks like lava is pouring down from the falls. It can be seen here: http://www.jharrisonphoto.com/gallery/2747559_ghkMc

John Harrison Photography > "Sunset on the Merced" "Water, Light and Textures series. The sunset on the Merced flowing with the reflection of the blue sky give a totally abstract composition with the pleasant tones on the water.- Aperture Nature Photography Workshop Contest, Yosemite National Park-_D3X9534
