jharrison > The “Lone Surfer at Natural Bridges” was captured on a winter day at Sunset. The waves were strong, and the sunset was beautiful. There was one surfer that I caught dreaming about hitting the waves one last time before the sunlight totally disappeared. This location is a beautiful cove and has endless amounts of places to photograph. In the spring, school children frequent this location on field trips to see the monarch butterflies.

jharrison > "Storm and Sunset over Mono Lake"
White caps were brewing on Mono Lake so I shot this with a 4 second exposure to give this mystical feel to it. The storm clouds were still looming and the sunset was peeking through to highlight the tufa in the center. The salt spray from the lake created the snow like ring around the lake. The winds were about 20-30 miles an hour and I had to use my camera bag and body to weight the tripod down so there was no movement during the long exposure. Something a little different from Mono Lake!
