"California Poppies in Yosemite National Park" Spring is here and I thought a nice image of California Poppies would be timely! This was from a few years ago outside Yosemite so I have no idea how the wildflowers are looking now. One never knows! I love the details in the rocks and trees along the ridge line with blue skies and a few clouds. This particular year the poppies created an orange carpet from the rivers to the tops of every hill around! Apparently you only get this every 15-20 years! Yosemite and wildflowers are a great combination! I just delivered this as a 30x45 print to a corporate client and it looks great. Spring in Yosemite is amazing!
