"Trees and Snow in Yosemite National Park" Huge snowflakes started coming down while I was taking photos of the beautiful trees and bark in Yosemite. Just an amazing feeling walking through Yosemite Valley with snow coming down. Usually when there is snow, people are leaving the park or running for cover - I think it is the best time! I still have a picture of my daughter in the backpack while we were hiking in 6 inches of snow in Yosemite (I'll ask her if I can share that!). This image caught my eye as you can see the nice green pine needles and brown/red contrast from the bark and the long streaks of snow coming down. I captured this with my Nikon D810, Nikon 24-70 f/2.8 lens at f/5.6, ISO 1250 and the key was a 1/15 second exposure. I played around with different exposures to get different compositions.
