"Fall Colors Among the Pines in Yosemite National Park"
A captured these fall colors in Yosemite National Park this past year. The subtle reds and yellows in the midst of the majestic Ponderosa Pines towering above. I love the way the branches on the trees spread out and reach for the Yosemite sky. The green leaves tucked in between the fall colors to give a full array of colors and textures. Capturing Fine Art in Yosemite is such a thrill for me and glad I can be there experiencing every bit and capturing this for you to enjoy at home. Yosemite National Park in the Fall is one of my favorite times of year to visit - you never know if you will have sun, rain, or snow. For this trip we had all of the above! Fall colors were both muted and in short supply this year in Yosemite National Park due to the drought. I did catch a small patch of red fall colors with these yellow leaves around them. The majestic pines were all around giving a nice greens and brown contrast to offset the yellows, oranges and red leaves in the fall colors and pine needles around. I love simple settings like this that seem so simple yet are so complex and detailed that you can look at for hours. Nikon D810, Nikon 70-200 f/2.8 lens at 105mm, f/6.3, ISO 200 and 1/6 shutter speed on top of my Gitzo tripod!
