"Half Dome from Olmsted Point" Yosemite National Park

"Half Dome from Olmsted Point" I went up to Tuolumne Meadows on the Tioga Road a few weeks ago and stopped for the view of Half Dome from Olmsted Point. I never get tired of these views! Just a few high clouds rolling by with the blue summer skies overhead. It was nice to see the green trees with so many dead trees from the drought. If you are in Yosemite National Park make time to head along the Tioga Road (if it is open!) and venture to Olmsted Point. There are not many people up there although the parking lot can be quite crowded! Hike up to the trees and rocks nearby or down closer towers Half Dome. Some of the best views in Yosemite not to be missed. I wish could have stayed around for sunset or the moonrise but we continued on our way home.
